Royston’s got Art!

The biggest compilation of art activities in North Hertfordshire is coming!
It’s nearly time for Royston Arts Festival 2015. You’ve got to be there!

Every year the last weekend in September sees the little town of Royston overrun with creativity – art, dance, fairs, music, craft, shows, pottery, cooking, poetry, writing, you name it! – every form of art comes to Royston to show off during the Royston Arts Festival, and this year, I’m showing some of my art in the festival’s largest and longest running exhibition. Woohoo!

The Royston Arts Society hosts is 36th annual Auntumn Exhibition during Festival weekend at the Royston Town Hall. Yes, the most diverse art exhibition in Royston’s creative calendar is back!

The exhibition runs from September 26th to 27th, 10am to 5pm daily. Come enjoy framed and unframed original art, prints, greeting cards, portraits, landscapes, abstracts, textile art, mixed media, watercolours, acrylics, oils, pen and ink, pastels, line drawings and more! The Royston Art Society’s amateur and professional artists have created a veritable feast for viewers and collectors alike.

See RAS members’ take on the Arts Festival’s ‘Illumination’ theme then vote for your favourite Illumination painting, or your favourite painting throughout the exhibition. It’s all part of the RAS’ commitment to providing a top quality creative community experience.

With over 300 pieces of art on show, there is definitely something for everyone. All local. All affordable. See you there!
